Lemon Cherry Gelato is the LA status cut of the late 2020s — a Sunset Sherbet-dominant tri-cross that pairs a bright limonene citrus top note with deep caryophyllene gas and a sweet cherry-cream back end. Backpackboyz put LCG on the international map; the cut has been endlessly reprinted at every tier of the market, which means quality varies wildly. A real LCG press pulls translucent 6-star amber rosin with a terpene total pushing 4%. Look for dense buds with purple hues shot through bright pink pistils, a frost coverage so heavy the bud looks sugared, and a nose that reads distinctly cherry on the top and gas on the bottom.
