WHAT ISO/IEC 17025 MEANS

ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. A 17025-accredited cannabis lab has undergone formal quality-system audits covering: method validation, uncertainty quantification, equipment calibration chains, personnel competency, and ongoing proficiency testing across blind reference samples.

Cannabis lab accreditation isn’t federally mandated for hemp testing — but premium brands work exclusively with 17025 labs because the rigor matters. Two non-accredited labs can return wildly different cannabinoid numbers on the same sample. Two 17025-accredited labs typically agree within ±2% on a properly-prepared sample.

Every Rosin Royale batch ships with a COA (Certificate of Analysis) from a 17025- accredited lab. The COA is linked from a QR code on the jar and via the public batch URL at /coa/[batch-id].

SOLVENTLESS = ALWAYS ND

For our hash rosin specifically, the residual solvents panel always reads ND (Not Detected) across the full 21-solvent screen. This isn’t a careful production choice — it’s a definitional truth. Solventless extraction uses only heat, pressure, ice, and water. There are no solvents to detect because none were ever introduced.

BHO, CO₂, and ethanol-extracted concentrates always carry trace residual solvents below regulatory limits (under 500ppm typically). Solventless rosin always carries zero. This is the core purity argument for the solventless category.

VERIFICATION PROCESS

Three ways to verify the COA on any Rosin Royale jar in your possession:

1. QR scan. Scan the QR code on the jar label with your phone camera. Opens the public COA URL directly.
2. Batch URL. Visit rosinroyale.com/coa/[batch-id] and enter the batch ID printed on your jar (e.g., RR-2026-04-NS-001).
3. Serial verification. For Royal Reserve numbered jars, visit rosinroyale.com/verify/[serial] with the N° printed on your decree. Confirms authenticity, links to COA, and shows the original buyer’s public Membership tier.

Every COA includes: batch ID, test date, lab name + 17025 accreditation number, all seven panels with quantitative results, pass/fail status against state regulatory thresholds, and the signing analyst.
