WHY WE BUILT THIS
Premium cannabis got stuck pretending it’s medicine instead of acting like the luxury craft it is. Bourbon has barrels and vintages. Olive oil has cultivars and presses. Watchmakers serialize every piece. Cannabis — the most varietal agricultural product on earth — somehow defaulted to 3.5g bags with a strain name and a total-THC number.
Rosin Royale is the opposite move. We press hash rosin in small batches, sign every jar with a wax seal, laser-etch an edition number, and ship it with a cream cardstock decree card so the collector has a physical artifact that proves the provenance.
Every jar has a batch ID. Every batch has an ISO/IEC 17025 lab-tested COA. Every Royal Reserve drop is capped at 250 jars and retired — we don’t re-press a cut once it’s sold out. If you pick N°042 of the inaugural Lemon Cherry Gelato press, that jar exists in a batch of 250 ever made.
THE CRAFT
Solventless hash rosin is the most technically difficult cannabis extract to produce at connoisseur grade. There’s no solvent to cover up mistakes. The source material has to be fresh-frozen at harvest, ice-water extracted within a narrow window, freeze-dried to remove moisture without degrading terpenes, and pressed at pressure-and-temperature combinations that vary strain-by-strain.
We press at 180–210°F with 800–1,200 PSI, depending on the cultivar. Pressing cold preserves the volatile terpenes — α-pinene (boiling point 155°C), ocimene (154°C), β-caryophyllene (160°C) — all of which are lost in higher-temp pressing.
Our output is 6-star full-melt: translucent pulls with zero residue on a 520–540°F quartz dab, terpene totals above 3.5%, and residual solvents always ND. See the rosin guide for the full dab protocol, or rosin grades explained for the texture breakdown.
SOURCING
We partner with single-garden indoor living-soil flower growers and small-batch hash-maker courts in California. Trim runs never make it into Rosin Royale rosin — only fresh-frozen whole-plant material. Every supplier is federally Farm Bill compliant: hemp varieties producing less than 0.3% Δ9 THC by dry weight.
On the flower side: hand-trimmed, slow-cured at 58°F and 60% RH for 42+ days minimum. Every jar is batch-stamped with harvest, cure, and pack dates so collectors know exactly when the flower was pulled off the plant.
