THCa diamonds are crystalline formations of pure-or-near-pure THCa that grow from saturated cannabis extracts when allowed to settle over weeks. They appear as clear, gem-like structures ranging from grain-of-rice to thumbnail size. Production: a high-cannabinoid extract (usually live resin or live rosin) is sealed in a jar at slightly elevated temperature; the THCa molecules nucleate and crystallize, separating from the terpene-rich oil that becomes the sauce. The diamonds are 95–99% pure THCa — chemically identical to lab-purified THCa isolate. Dabbing a diamond alone produces a clean, very potent, terpene-flat experience. Most consumers prefer the "diamonds and sauce" format — diamonds dipped in their accompanying terp sauce — for the full flavor experience. Diamonds dab at 540–560°F (low-temp). They're extremely potent — a single grain-of-rice diamond can deliver 25–40mg of decarboxylated Δ9 THC. Storage: diamonds are stable at room temperature but should be kept cool to preserve the surrounding sauce.
