SIX-STAR MELT IS REAL
Loaded the bucket, hit a 510°F dab, and watched it disappear without a trace. Zero residue. Terps stayed bright to the last vapor. This is what cold-cure rosin is supposed to taste like.
WAX SEAL, DECREE CARD, THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE
Unboxed the Royal Reserve and immediately took photos. Wax seal, cardstock decree, laser-etched lid — collector experience start to finish. The rosin itself is incidental at this point (it’s also amazing).
Numbered jars are a serious differentiator. I’ve started a collection wall with the decree cards. Not even joking.
Every batch I’ve had has been clean COA, clean melt, clean nose. They don’t miss.
HOW HOT ISTOO HOT?
Press temperature dictates texture, color, and terpene retention. The sweet spot for a preserved nose and stable jar is narrower than most people think.
Sap · jam · cold-cure badder
Lowest terpene loss. Textures rarely stabilize — best for fresh-press eaters.
Cold-cure badder · fresh-press
The Rosin Royale press window. Terp profile preserved, stable texture at room temp.
Shatter-ish · sugar · auto-butter
Higher yield, darker color. Terp loss starts. Mass-market presses live here.
Dark · sticky · burnt
Avoid. Terps cook, the rosin oxidizes, and the melt drops to 3–4 stars.
SIX STARSOR BUST
Hash makers score rosin on a 1–6 star melt scale. Anything under five leaves residue in the banger. We only press and ship six-star melts. If a batch fails the test, it doesn’t get numbered.
Dark, sticky, bubbles slow when you dab it. Mass-market rosin pressed from dry sift.
Standard flower rosin — pressed from already-cured bud. Decent flavor, some residue left in the banger.
Fresh-frozen live rosin. Bright terps, amber pour, minimal residue. Reserve-grade baseline.
Six-star melt. Disappears in the bucket — zero char, zero residue. Rosin Royale standard.
