WHAT IS Δ10 THC
Δ10-tetrahydrocannabinol is an isomer of Δ9 THC — same molecular formula (C₂₁H₃₀O₂), different position of one double bond. Where Δ9 has the double bond between carbons 9 and 10, and Δ8 has it between carbons 8 and 9, Δ10 has it between carbons 10 and 6a.
Δ10 occurs in cannabis at vanishingly low concentrations (under 0.01%). Commercial Δ10 is synthesized from hemp-derived CBD through chemical conversion, similar to Δ8 production but with different catalysts and conditions.
Subjectively, users report Δ10 as energetic, focus-leaning, and sativa-character. The effect intensity is moderate — generally somewhere between Δ8 (~70% of Δ9) and Δ9 itself. Some users describe Δ10 as "Sativa Δ8" while Δ8 is "Indica THC."
