Ocimene is a bright, sweet, almost tropical terpene that shows up as a high-register top note in citrus and tropical-leaning strains. Low boiling point (154°C) means it's the first thing to evaporate in high-heat dabs — connoisseurs chasing ocimene pull at 500–520°F. Outside cannabis, ocimene shows up in mint, parsley, basil, orchids, and mangoes. Ocimene-led strains tend to read uplifting and cerebral.
